MISSION STATEMENT

We, as parishioners of the Church of the Resurrection of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, are a community of believers grounded in the teaching of Jesus in the Roman Catholic tradition. Guided by the Holy Spirit, we welcome all people to join us in our Faith Journey. Through worship, prayer, study and action, we strive to bring the good news and value of God’s Kingdom to our community and to the world beyond our community.

FROM THE PASTOR'S DESK...

Ordinary time! There is a lot to be said for everyday ordinary. Now that the "Holidays" are behind us it is good to be ordinary. Go to work, go to school, cook dinner, do homework, do the dishes, watch TV, go to bed! Ordinary routine is a blessing in disguise because it gives us a sense of security, in that, on ordinary days there will be no surprises to upset the "applecart" of life, just a routine that actually makes our live easier. I'd like to see someone write a biography titled: "An Ordinary Life". It, perhaps, wouldn't be a big seller, but it would describe most of our lives as lived, and that would be OK. There is a lot to be said for Everyday Ordinary.
--Peace, Fr. Quinn
